The Chairman of Bac Giang People's Committee has approved the project namely "Nutrition and education support for poor children in Son Dong district 2016" granted by the Italian Association for Aid to Children (CIAI) Vietnam.

The project will provide study tools and textbooks for nursery, elementary and high school students; give bicycles for beneficiary students, provide health check and advice for children; provide treatment support for children suffering eye and oral diseases in the project area; provide at-home healthcare  for the households and support for disabled children of 18 households at the three communes in the project area. The project will be carried out at 21 communes and town of Son Dong district with the total fund of 72,000 euro. Mr. Chairman requested the president of the provincial Children Protection Association to collaborate with the sponsor, the people's committee of Son Dong district and related agencies in implementation of the project and proper management of the aid grant in line with the regulations and approved purposes.
