Secretary and Chairman of Bac Giang province to visit and congratulate Japanese and Singaporean Embassies in Vietnam on New Year occasion

As a part of visiting foreign representative agencies in Vietnam on new year, on January 1st 2014, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh – the alternate member of the Central Committee cum secretary of Bac Giang Party Provincial Committee, Mr. Bui Van Hai – Vice Secretary cum chairman of the people’s committee of Bac Giang province (Bac Giang PPC) and leaders of the office of the PPC and foreign affairs department paid a visit and congratulated Mr. Hiroshi Fukada – Japanese ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary and Mr. Ng Teck Hean – Sigaporean ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Vietnam and their colleagues at the embassies.

At the meeting, Mr.Tran Sy Thanh highly appreciated the cooperation of Japanese and Singaporean partners with Bac Giang province over the past few years. He also emphasized that the current cooperation was not equal to the potential of Bac Giang province. Therefore, Bac Giang province sân khấu di động would actively create favorable investment environment in the coming time to strengthen cooperation with foreign countries including Japan and Singapore. The province would focus on land clearance, development of infrastructure for industrial production such as traffic and drainage system, and improving qualification of officers in the province. In addition, the secretary also proposed the ambassadors to pay attention to introducing their enterprises to invest in Bac Giang bàn hòa phát province.

On the discussions, the ambassadors shared that Japanese and Singaporean enterprises pay much attention to agricultural sector of Vietnam. They are seeking for market and mechanism to purchase and process agricultural products for exporting  to their countries or consuming in domestic market by their retail enterprises in Vietnam. At the meeting, the chairman of Bac Giang PPC Bui Van Hai also provided information and strenghts of Bac Giang in agriculture including Luc Ngan litchis, Yen The hill chickens, and centralized agricultural production areas of the province. Bac Giang is one of the Northern provinces with advantages of agriculture; however, to ensure productivity, quality and dich vu tham tu its brand in the internal and external markets, it requires the tight investment and cooperation between enterprises and farmers especially in progress of cultivating, preserving and processing after harvest. Agriculture sector and agricultural product processing is one of profitable sectors in Bac Giang province for Japanese and Singaporean investors.
