On the afternoon of 20 July, Permanent Vice Chairman of Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Lai Thanh Son met with a delegation of Aomori Prefecture, Japan headed by Mr. Nakano Shozo, Director of ProworksTowada- a non-governmental organization from Aomori Prefecture who came to visit Bac Giang province and seek cooperation opportunities in sport and cultural exchange. The delegation was also welcome by leader s of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Yen Dung district.

On the afternoon of 20 July, Permanent Vice Chairman of Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Lai Thanh Son met with a delegation of Aomori Prefecture, Japan headed by Mr. Nakano Shozo, Director of ProworksTowada- a non-governmental organization from Aomori Prefecture who came to visit Bac Giang province and seek cooperation opportunities in sport and cultural exchange. The delegation was also welcome by leader s of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Yen Dung district.

At the meeting, PPC Permanent Vice Chairman Lai Thanh Son showed his pleasure to welcome the delegation. He highly appreciated the support of Aomori Prefecture in building a kindergarten at Thang Cuong commune, Yen Dung district and investing in teaching equipment for the school. He hoped Aomori Prefecture would keep their help for educational sector of Bac Giang province generally and Yen Dung district particularly.

He shared, Bac Giang would organize Vietnam- Japan cultural exchange annually and he hoped Aomori Prefecture would participate in this event so that the two provinces could strengthen their relationship and mutual understanding.

Mr. Nakano Shozo, Director of ProworksTowada thanked Bac Giang province for their warm welcome and for the support of the provincial leaders in construction of the kindergarten at Thang Cuong commune.

He hoped in coming time, the two provinces would boost up their cooperative relationship to be more effective. As a big agricultural production area of Japan, which is famous for rice and apple, Aomori Prefecture expected to have exchange with Bac Giang Province in this sector. Mr. Nakano Shozo was glad to invite Bac Giang delegation to Aomori Prefecture to exchange and share production experience.
