At the meeting, DOFA Vice Director Nguyen Quang Tuan brifed the guests on socio-economic development, potentials and advantages of Bac Giang province in investment attraction and trade activities. Bac Giang has total 900,000 pig heads with an output of 172,000 tons and 21 million chicken heads with a productivity of 96,000 tons. Currently, the livestock products of Bac Giang are mainly domestically consumed when slaughtering and processing are at small scale and low technology. The province is lack of a large-scale industrial slaughtering and processing facility. He stressed attracting investment in high-tech farm produce processing is one priority of Bac Giang province.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Plentz Neto, a representative of Brazilian Chamber of Commerce said Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh paid an official visit to Brazil under the invitation by Brazilian President in September 2023. The visit took place when both countries are celebrating towards the 35^th anniversary of the diplomatic ties in 2024. In order to implement the orientations of the visit, Brazilian Chamber of Commerce is targeted to promote bilateral trade turnover while supporting to connect Vietnamese localities with Brazilian enterprises and serving as a bridge to foster cooperation between people and businesses of both countries.

Scarlassara, a representative of BMG Foods showed his interest in the investment and business climate in Bac Giang. The company will continue surveying and seeking opportunities to open a food processing plant (livestock and poultry) in Vietnam and Bac Giang province.
