At the meeting, Mr. Ngo Bien Cuong gave an overview of the socio-economic development results of Bac Giang province. Especially, Bac Giang's 2020 growth rate is 13.02%, leading the whole country. Over the past years, the economic structure of the province has shifted in a positive direction. Agriculture is in the direction of specializing in farming and building concentrated production areas, especially for fruit trees. The Director of Bac Giang’s DOFA also wished and suggested the Ambassador to assist the province to continue taking steps to accelerate the signing of a local cooperation agreement with Lower Silesia province of Poland, provide information and invite Polish enterprises to explore investment opportunities in Bac Giang province, especially in the field of processing and preserving agricultural products.

          Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Wojciech Gerwel also introduced the delegation to several sectors the Polish Government takes into consideration, especially in education. Poland has an advanced, modern education with low tuition fees compared to other countries in the European Union. Therefore, he wished that Bac Giang province would create favorable conditions for Polish universities to introduce training programs at high schools in the province. At the same time, he expressed his joy at the relation between Lower Silesia of Poland and Bac Giang of Vietnam, which was built to contribute to further strengthening the cooperative relation between Poland and Vietnam.
