During his visit, Mr. Nguyen Quang Tuan, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs appreciated the contribution of organizations in effective implementation of the projects in the fields of vocational education, community development, agriculture, health, poverty reduction, water and sanitation ...

These projects contribute to improving the living standards of poor and near poor households; ethnic minorities; some households in resettlement area; workers living with economic difficulties in the industrial zones, especially in the extremely difficult communes of Son Dong, Luc Ngan, Yen The, Luc Nam.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Tuan expected NGOs to continue focusing on expanding the programs and implementing projects to improve the quality of life of people in the project areas, raising awareness and skills for beneficiaries in economically difficult areas, contributing positively to poverty reduction and the realization of socio-economic development objectives of Bac Giang province.

The visit also provided an opportunity for the leaders of the Foreign Affairs Department to discuss the implementation of projects in Bac Giang province and the advantages and disadvantages of foreign NGOs in the province.
