In the cradle of Kinh Bac culture formed and developed over Ắc quy xe máy centuries, Bac Giang province has a rich and abundant culture which is presented with customs and habits of different ethnic groups, historic relics, folk festivals and traditional craft villages.

There are more than 2,200 historic relics in the province (including temples, pagodas and cultural relics), in which 635 relics have been ranked and 42 of which ranked at national level have been preserved and improved. Such relics are of diversified types and unique architecture such as Lo Hanh temple (Dong Lo, Hiep Hoa district) Thiết kế nhà hàng sân vườn built in 1576, Tho Ha temple (Van Ha, Viet Yen district) built in 1686, Phu Lao temple (Dao My, Lang Giang) built in the 17th century, Cao Thuong, Vuong and Ha temples (Tan Yen district), Vinh Nghiem pagoda (Tri Yen, Yen Dung district), Bo Da pagoda (Viet Yen distrct), Ngo family tomb and Dinh Huong tomb (Hiep Hoa district). Due to their long history, many buildings have been partly damaged but they still leave noi that hoa phat impression with unique construction techniques, awesome painting and sculpture art of Bac Giang people.

Bac Giang also has an unique treasure of folk culture like legends, fairy tales, anecdotes, funny stories, folk games, trong quan singing, quan ho, cheo, ca tru, songhao singing., etc. Some villages still maintain tradition of singing folk songs in community like Tan Dinh tuong village (Lang Giang district), Dong Quan cheo village (Yen Dung district), Thai Dao then  village (Lang Giang district) Máy tăng âm truyền thanh and quan ho villages in Viet Yen district. Many craft villages keep their traditional features including Tho Ha pottery village, Van Ha alcohol village (Viet Yen district), Da Mai soft noodle village (Bac Giang city), Phuc Long and Phuc Tang rattan &bamboo knitting villages (Tang Tien, Viet Yen district), Duc Thang forging village (Hiep Hoa district) and Tho Ha quan ho singing village (Van Ha, Viet Yen district).

Traditional festivals have been preserved in villages and communes to create strong bind among community Dầu dừa and educate tradition, culture and history. There are over 500 traditional festivals held in Bac Giang province annually including some outstanding festivals as Yen The, Xuong Giang, Suoi Mo, Tho Ha and Vinh Nghiem pagoda festivals.

With unique and long- standing cultural features , Bac Giang have a strong sense of pride in having the inscription of three heritages recognized by UNESCO as the world cultural heritages including Quan ho folk song,  Buồn nôn Ca tru and woodblocks of Vinh Nghiem pagoda.
